GRL MTN has come together once again to release our annual home grown music compilation. AAural II is a compelling mix of unreleased material from bands hailing from the midwestern locale of Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the year since the last release not only have our ranks grown but so have our styles and sonics diversified and matured. The album cascades through nouveau electronic, Detroit influenced house, ambient swelling spirituals, orchestral/electronic pieces and noise speckled rock. In fact the comp is so wide ranging and so good on the ol' eardrums that it is quite a surprise that it all comes from one small town half an hour outside of Detroit.
